BOOTS LIVE PROJECT.

BLANK. is a non-toxic hair care brand created for a live project with the Boots and Wallgreens alliance.

Born out of an interest for sustainable consumption, and knowledge around personal care product ingredients being potentially harmful to the consumer.


For this project, I visualised how consumers may interact with their hair routine in the future, shifting from the traditional two-part routine of shampoo and conditioner, to a shampoo bar and hair oil. Reducing the plastic packaging waste and loosing the harmful ingredients for a healthier hair cuticle.

The shampoo is best activated with cold water rather than hot, to encourage consumers to turn to the unfamiliar side of the shower gauge, whilst reducing their footprint on the environment and giving themselves a much needed energy boost! (Check out the 'Wim Hof Method' for more information)

On the inside of the paper shampoo wrap, there is an ingredients breakdown. Informing the consumer about why each ingredients is used, it's scientific ingredient name as well as its benefit.
